Jude The Obscure is more or less a side project of Dallas from Alexisonfire. The 2 bands pretty much sound the same, exept Jude The Obscure has another singer, and sometimes more metal sounding guitar riffs. So in other words, if you are one that says "hey, Alexisonfire is so shitty. I could make better music by rubbing wax paper all over my gooch" Then you most likely WILL NOT like Jude The Obscure. Some of My favorite songs by them are: "Wake Up My Love", "Stab" and "Seven
Steps"...but there are many more great ones. I love how in songs like "Wake Up My Love" they have a duet singing intro with Dallas and the other singer...then BAM they break into a huge screaming, insane guitar part which lasts for like the whole song. This makes Jude The Obscure appeal to all audiences.......
except those gangsters out there like Heather Franklin (or "Heatha" as she says)...g--g--g--g-g-G-UNIT!!!!
