| AMP is an organisation that promotes young, local bands and is desperately trying to improve the Carlisle music scene. We feel that many types of musical interest are uncatered for at present. The organisation was first set up in 1998, with the intention of staging a music festival in Carlisle. However due to many problems, including an unco-operative council, we had to change our aims. We now present a bi-monthly showcase of local bands at the popular club The Richmond, Carlisle. We are funded by The Princes Trust and supported by the Y.E.S. | ||||||||||
