| Colonoscopy... | ||||||||||||||
| O-kay, it's finally time for a new random thought. This one is also not very deep (which is going against my very reason for making this) but it's a subject that's really been layed on my heart.....well.....actually on another part of my body, to speak on. Here goes. With all the medical breakthroughs we've had in the last few decades regarding technology, medicine, etc. We've made it possible for the depressed to smile, the angry to mellow, the hyperactive to calm down, and we've even made it possible for old men who have absolutely no business copulating, to copulate. That's all fine and dandy (or not if you take my standpoint), but there's one question I have: where the crap was the medical breakthrough in colonoscopy procedure?!? Where are all the scientists and researches who don't want things inserted into their rectum to look at their colons? Does this not bother them? I know it bothers me! In another ::quickly does some counting on his fingers:: 22 years or so I do not, and I repeat DO NOT want a plumbing snake put up my butt. I would think this would be a fairly popular opinion, but apparently I'm alone. You would think if someone else shared my lack of affinity for rectal penetration, that they would invent some other way of checking out your colon than through your anus. I would think (with my very limited medical intelligence) that you could improve upon x-ray technology or use something more scientific to look inside of you than (to quote Robin Williams) "to put a camera on the end of a roto-rooter." If anyone agrees/disagrees/has more information or whatever, feel free to let me know. Until next thought......... |
