What is a robot?

Robot is an automatic machine capable of doing many tasks within changing enviroments,which can be taught or programmed to do work.It may not resemble a human being but it does many jobs like us.

Where does the word "Robot" come from ?

It comes from a play entitled Rossum's universal Robots,written and coined in1921 by the Czech writer Karel Capek.In Czech 'Robot' means worker or forced labour.

A robot essentially consist of a hydraulic supply,Servo Mechanisms,Switches,computer,motors,arms,legs,video cameras etc...

It is the name of a Robot arm.It is named after the science fiction writer Issac Asimov.It is manufactured by Unimation Inc.,America.

It can do certain simple tasks,like rolling across the floor,taking a cup out of a cabinet,and pouring coffee.
