| 1968 XLCH SPORTSTER THIS BIKE IS THE QUICKEST HARLEY I HAVE. IT HAS DRAG PIPES, MAGNETO IGNITION, S&S SUPER CARBURATOR, P-GRIND CAMS,& A LATER MODEL FRONT END. THE SHIFTER IS ON THE RIGHT SIDE BECAUSE SPORTSTERS USED TO RACE TO THE LEFT AROUND A TRACK & THE SHIFTER WOULD HIT THE GROUND IF IT WAS ON THE LEFT. |

| THESE ARE VIEWS OF THE ENGINE: THIS BIKE HAS NO BATTERY, WHICH MAKES IT VERY RELIABLE. I HAVE FOUND THAT THE BATTERY ON A MOTORCYCLE IS A ROYAL PAIN IN THE ASS. THE NECK HAS BEEN RAKED ABOUT 3". THIS ENGINE HAS NOT BEEN TAKEN APART SINCE 1970 WHEN MY FATHER FIRST BOUGHT IT. IT STILL RUNS LIKE HELL. FIND A JAP BIKE THAT WILL LAST 30 YEARS WITHOUT COMING APART! |
