| I want to be loved for just being me, And I want it to come unconditionally. I want to know that someone will care, Someone with whom my feelings I can share. Someone who won't criticize like you, Can I ever make you happy with the things that I do? Someone to hold me and never let me free, Not push me away when we don't agree. I need the love that I could never earn, I need someone to show just a little concern. I need to know I have worth despite your critic, And I pray to God I find the person I seek. A friend, a love, I don't care which one, I only want someone about whom I've spoken. I want someone to listen and relate, How long to be loved will I have to wait? |
