| Seeing you look her way once again, Knowing I'm not enough to hold your gaze. Wishing I could fill your dreams every night, Instead of your friendship during the days. Watching you make the biggest mistake of your life, Knowing she's not all that she seems. Hoping and praying you'll find out before it's too late, That she's not the angel that resides in your dreams. Congratulation, and commending, and biting my tongue, Appearing as happy as everyone else. Secretly wishing that it will not last, Keeping my insecurities to myself. Breaking my heart again and again, Scared that it will never be healed. Hiding the pain inside of my heart, And playing the hand that you dealed. |
