Drowning
More Poetry
Gasping for air, calling for help; Feeling myself being pulled down. Praying for relief, knowing it's too late; Trying not to let myself drown. Head spinning around, dizzy and confused; Not knowing which way to turn. Hoping pain will stop, praying it's the end; Feeling my lungs start to burn. Letting myself go, giving into the pull; As my will to fight slowly dies. Floating listlessly, drowning once again; In the dark blue depths of your eyes.
