Welcome to my horrificly boring life!
I Write...

Ok peoples...just a sampling of my poetry. Tell me, honestly, what you think:

The Wolfman

The night was dark; the air was cold.
The wolf man was hungry; he grew bold.
As there was no food in sight.

The night was silent; the stars shone bright.
The kids were asleep; so was his wife.
A shadow was seen in the full moon's light.

The house was old; the stairs, they creaked.
His teeth were sharp; his fur, it reeked.
It smelled of the garbage dump where he roamed.

His claws were long; his nose was too.
His teeth were sharp; his eyes were blue.
And they seemed to make you freeze.

When the moon is full; outside he creeps.
When the air is still; and the resident sleeps.
Dreaming of tomorrow's day.

When the bats awake; and the lights go out.
When the doors are locked; and there's no one about.
He walks the streets of your town.

When the morning comes; and the lights come on.
When he's a man; and his fur is gone.
He knows not what happened last night.

The night was dark; the air was cold.
The wolf man was hungry; he grew bold.
As there was no food in sight.

Broken Angel

Broken angel, born of light,
But left in darkness for far too long.
Searching for a quiet corner,
Looking for somewhere to belong.
Battered wings show signs of trials,
Faced alone with no one near.
Shattered halo bears the marks,
Of the absence of any former fear.
Crying softly in the dark,
But bravely facing each new day.
Little angel dry your tears,
Deliverance is not far away.
Breaking down, but getting back up,
Fighting with everything she’s got.
Waiting for someone to care for her,
To finally make right the things that are not.
So Broken angel, born of light,
Raise up your shimmering eyes to see.
A new day coming, release drawing near,
And have the courage to fly away free.
