Wufei and Trowa
They don't interact much in the series... in fact, Wufei rarely interacts with any of the pilots. He met Quatre only once or twice, Trowa little more than that, and probably only made an acquaintence with Heero and Duo because he was captured with them. They don't call him the Solitary Dragon for nothing, eh? But who could forget the moment these two shared (in the romantic light of a fire no less) along with some coffee. 5x3 may not be likely, but my, my, my it should be.
Wufei was raised in a very traditional setting, and that left him with a few outdated ideals. Including, men must be *men* in every sense of the term. Because of that it's rather hard to pinpoint exactly whom he has feelings for. We know he loved his wife, we know he has some affinity for (the almost motherly) Sally, there are some *vague* hints for his involvement with Treize, but nothing concrete. Trowa may not be verbal with his affections but he does make it clear who he cares for, but leaves the depth of those affections unsaid. So... while these two are being so candid, there doesn't seem to be much reason not (for the purposes of fan fics, or fan art) to assume they might harbor some feelings for each other.
If they got together, would it work? That's a good question, Wufei doesn't seem to be the best at relationships, but then neither does Trowa. I can see them falling into a harmony though, Trowa's understated, soft spoken personality would compliment Wufei's own overpowering one rather well. I don't know why I see these two as becoming the perfect yin-yang couple, but I do. That said, I want to beg all you fic writers to grace us with a few more speculative glances into this couple. Come on... look how good they look together. That at *least* deserves some PWPs. ::grins::
