Ralph and Trowa
For those of you who don't care about spoilers, and don't know who Ralph is. He's a fellow member of the mercenary group Trowa was in before he left to work on HeavyArms. He and Trowa later met up after the series, in the manga Blind Target, which occurred before Endless Watlz. It seems Ralph was quite fascinated with Trowa during they're times with the mercenaries, but little else is said about their relationship. Trowa, too, seems to have some feelings toward Ralph, and while initially stand offish, he does invite Ralph for some coffee after the mess dealt with in Blind Target is over with. (I am delibrately being vague, I don't want to spoil everything) However, Ralph declined, which I think signifies that whatever *was* between them is over. (Awww~!)
Through there interaction, I get the feeling that if they weren't involved, they would have if given more time. If so, would it have worked? Well, no doubt Ralph is well aware (and quite understanding) of the ghosts of Trowa's past so there probably won't be much trouble there. The deeper understanding they would share through the similar backgrounds would likely help them circumvent a lot of trouble. Ralph seems to a pretty nice guy, too, so I don't really see why those two couldn't try forge a new, more normal life with each other.
There has been a little attention given to this subtle, and less than well-known couple. That's good. They really do look good together, and I think in a lot of ways they are a more reasonable couple than any other. I don't have too much to say about them, simply because I don't know *that* much about Ralph. However, this pairing is *really* something you should look into, especially if you're a Trowa fan.
