| This was at the Books-A-Million, where Maryland Wrimos indulged in coffee and writing, with some breaks to socialize and stretch. The fearless ML is standing behind the camera. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Showing off the finest in NaNoGear - the shirts on the left were from last year, while the ML (at right) and Bozoette sported the latest "NaNo-Novelist" shirt - it's a bird, it's a plane, no, it's a WRITER! | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Write-In at Borders in Columbia, November 13, 2004 | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Waiting for coffee. . . A bit of socializing. . . Cheesecake-powered writing. . . All together now. . . We had 3 PC laptops, two Apples, and one person writing longhand. She admitted that if she were a true writer, she would have brought her granite, hammer and chisel - talk about a heavy wordcount! Spam-flavored chai anyone? And, after burning my (ML's) tongue on eggnog chai, I was told it didn't matter, as a true writer I could just write what I needed to say. I proceeded to take my notebook and write "OW!" for them to see. I got better! We came out of this with decent wordcounts and are looking forward to more. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
