- started reading greek mythology when young, moved on to Nancy Drew and Alfred Hitchcock mysteries, then Tolkein, then sf/f short stories (read and loved The Littlest Dragonboy by Anne McCaffrey but didn't think to look for BOOKS by her!), then found Andre Norton's YA books, read A Wizard of Earthsea by Le Guin, continued to discover sf/f. . .
