The Start: You Are Here

My whole body is charged with excitement. Here I am putting the finishing touches on my very first webzine. Im normally like this when finishing a zine. Buzzing with excitement, ideas racing through my head. This time though, theres something more. Pumpkin isnt like my old Cobweb. Cobweb is the material, as in you can hold it in your hands, version of Pumpkin. I love Cobweb, but it doesnt have the carrying power that Pumpkin does. The whole world can read my words now!

Just for reference, I happen to be living in France at the moment as a foreign exchange student. I am right in the north, where its cold and rainy, but that doesnt matter much. Im learning loads, and thats what its all about.

Fear not, by the end of this zine you will know why I chose to name it Pumpkin. Within this issue you will find all kinds of things that I felt like writing about, just like in Cobweb. At the top of each article I give you a little information about it. At the end of my zine I provide a link to my comments form, an easy way to let me know what you think about it. So if you like my zine or hate it let me know. Im planning on putting up a readers comments section in my next issue, so I would really appreciate your feedback.

So for now consider me your torch in the dark. I will guide you through my world. Be prepared to feel surprised, love, hate, and anything else. After all, this is me. What more can you expect?
