testimony

    I grew up in an alcoholic home.
Thanks to God.
All glory belongs to him,
My parents quit drinking
when I was young.
My mother started going to church,
my Mom, my sister and I
accepted the Lord into our lives.

I went my own way, several times, in this journey of life, and it is still a struggle to surrender daily to him. I know too, that
I need to start and end each day,
thanking him, and surrending my will to his.

     I do know from experience, that when I
choose to go my own way, that I make a pretty big mess out of my life. My prayer for you this day, is that if you have not already accepted the Lord, that you would come to know him, and accept that we are all nothing without him.
      If you have not accepted the Lord as your personal savior, and would like to do so,
I encourage you to pray this prayer :

O, Lord, I accept that I have sinned,
I ask that you fogive me all my sins.
I thank you for dying on
the cross, to save me.

I realize Lord, that I cannot do
anything to deserve this gift,
and I thank you for loving me.
I ask Lord, that you enter my life,
that you cleanse me, and make me
a new creation.

Help me Lord, to walk in your will.
I ask Lord, that you send to me other believers to fellowship with, and to help me stay accountable. Help me Lord to be a witness to your saving power. I ask this, in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen.
