He throws crap for WHS track. His brother runs and his family sponsors the race. So he's going to run too.
Ryan Curtis-6:15
Once a 7:57 miler, but became one of the biggest improvement stories in recent Wilmington history.
Johnny Lee-6:30
Wilmington vs. Amesbury 400-meter champion, 2003, instigator of the first ever DVI in 2002.
Kenny Vassallo-7:15
Youngest competitor in the race, a 6:54 miler

A man with more injuries than Mick Foley but still has the balls to be here

A four-year veteran of Wilmington Cross-Country

Holds the Wilmington High School records for the current cross-country course, the indoor mile, the gym class mile, the outdoor mile at 4:27, and the overall record for the Wilmington 5K road race course. Three-time CAL champion in the mile

A 15:19 5K runner and 4:25 miler, two-time defending DVI champion
Jason Gustin-4:40
Part of the prestigious UMass-Lowell 4x800 team, with a personal record of 1:55 in the 800. Champion of the inaugural DVI in 2002.
Brian Schell-4:45
Finished third in the DVI three years in a row, making a comeback to track and field after a one-year hiatus
PJ Russo-5:00
His first mile since the 2003 DVI, where he finished fifth in 5:32. Looking to break five minutes for the first time.
Tony Karalekas-5:15
Coming off a solid season, trying to break the five-minute mile for the first time.
Matt Robinson-5:45
Once aspired to be the "Next DV," currently described as one of his teammates as "fast as balls."

Team Luke Warm, hailing from Medfield and Lexington, constantly tried to enter the DVI, even considering getting a P.O. Box in Wilmington for Wilmington residence. As a result of several no-shows, Team Luke Warm are the first and possibly last non-Wilmington residents to ever run the DVI.
