NAME: Alexandra Rudolpha von Blitzenritter

WAR NAMES: The Wrathful Wolf and Alex the Bloody

AGE: 22

P.O.B: The duchy of Eagle's Glen

DESCRIPTION:
Fairly small at only 5' 4", with shiny, black hair (that is kept out of her eyes by means of a headband), pale skin and blue-green eyes. A black eyepatch covers her left eye and a long scar begins a little above the eyebrow and terminates about half an inch below the bottom of the patch. She is slim but incredibly fit with a well-defined muscle structure, particularly her abdominals. Her face is usually cold and impassive. Moves with a predatory grace and only a fool couldn't see that she is a killer. Seems to exude a glacial coldness. Her accent betrays her noble birth and smacks of a "German" twang. In most cases she will be wearing either black plate armour or a black shirt, black breeches, a black leather jerkin and high, black riding boots. Like all knights she wears her golden spurs and sword at all times.

PERSONALITY: Is very reticent, verging on shy and so presents a very cold, icy front to the world that can be most off putting. Her feelings are usually hidden under this layer of ice, so much that she herself is often insensible of them. Alex is extremely bad-tempered, with a lust for blood and a quest for glory. She is deeply attached to her father and wants little more than to please him, however her upbringing means she is often not particularly confident in her own abilities. She is an absolute perfectionist who takes failure incredibly hard. Has a deep sense of honour, loyalty and, one might be justified in assuming, has the ability to care deeply if you can break down her walls. Alex has the gift for mindspeech with animals.

STRENGTHS:
Is a superb fighter, particularly excelling with the sword and bow. Her own sword is called Acies. Alex is incredibly likely to kill you, as she is fast, skilled and ruthlessly efficient. Only a fool gets in her way as she has a limited supply of mercy that just ran out. Alex is a skilled equestrianist that thinks nothing of leaning down from a horse travelling at a hand gallop to lift a weapon from a fallen enemy, or of saddling the meanest stallion in the stables.

WEAKNESSES: Has total lack of communicational and social skills. Alex spent her entire childhood following her father around and as a result never learned how to interact with other people properly. She lacks confidence in most things she does and will punish herself ruthlessly for anything that she counts as failure. She is also not the best of swimmers but this is something she is working on.

FATHER: Duke Rudolph of Eagle's Glen. It was he that Alex inherited her ability to mindspeak with the beasts from. He is tall, with Alex's dark hair and blue-green eyes. He is a reserved man who is superb at hiding his emotions, although he loves his first born daughter dearly.

MOTHER: Duchess Urica. Tall, blonde and beautiful, she is devoted to her children, with the exception of Alex whom she bitterly resents for being Rudolph's favouite,

SIBLINGS: Uric - Her older brother by nine months. He is the favourite of his mother whom he resembles in every line.
Ulrika - Her young sister by eleven months. Looks exactly like Urica.
Theobald - Her younger brother by two years. He looks like a mix between his father and mother, with sandy blond hair and blue eyes.

COMPANIONS: Travels with her dog Hellsfury and her destrier Demon. 'Fury, as he is affectionately known, resembles a large GSD and is Alex's friend and counciller in everything. Demon is big, black and has a mean temper. Alex is very attached to him and the stallion is very loyal to her.

BRIEF HISTORY:
Alex is the second born child of Rudolph and Urica. She was born about nine months after her brother Uric. Rudolph wasn't around much when Uric was born and as a result didn't get too attached to him, and when he did return to Eagle's Glen full-time he found Uric had become Urica's favourite and he had a new daughter.

As Urica was unwilling to part with her son, Rudolph found himself oblidged to carry his daughter around to show her the world. As Alex grew she continued to be her Father's shadow. Her Mother had no time for her, she was busy with the other children, and besides, Alex knew Urica didn't much care for her.

Rudolph, while he loved Alex dearly, was a reserved man. His affection for his first daughter was displayed in small ways; he allowed her to follow him, he taught her many things himself and he gave her a horse of her own. However he loved Alex so much that he constantly pushed her to her limits, trying to make her the best she could be. He thought he was doing the best thing for her when he pushed her on and criticised her faults and failures, he thought he was helping.

Alex struggled to make her beloved Father proud. She worked three times harder than her siblings and forced herself well past the point of exhaustion on many occasions. She became the best fighter and horseman at Eagle's Glen but still Rudolph urged for more.

Alex was constantly disheartened by his put downs and bitterly angry at herself for, as she saw it, letting her Father down. This led to the confidence issues that Alex would have in later life and even now when she fails at something she can hear, "Alex! What are you doing?! Not like that you silly child!" in her mind. This drove Alex to become the perfectionist she is.

Alex learned many things at her Father's heel. She learned the laws of Chivalry; to be loyal; to have and defend her honour, even to the death; to be strong and, most importantly, never to display your emotions. She grew to be strong, skilled, dangerous and as distant as a wall of ice. Following her Father had left little time for socialising so she had few, if any, friends and never attended parties.

When she earned her knighthood, Rudolph gave his daughter the young, black destrier she had trained to aid her in her career as a Free Lance. He also gave her the sword Acies. Rudolph had commissioned the weaponsmith to forge a sword for his daughter while she was still a toddler, knowing she would one day require a strong, true blade. It seemed fate that Acies was perfectly matched to its new owner. This was the most outward show of affection Rudolph had ever given his daughter and it was to be the last before she saddled up and rode out of Eagle's Glen to find her destiny.

Alex was wounded in her first battle and it left her partially blind on the left side. The scar that remains runs right across the eyeball. The partial vision she retains is more of a hinderance than anything else so the young knight decided to wear an eyepatch and has done so ever since.

After countless battles in which she won the warnames the Wrathful Wolf, for her ferocity, and Alex for the Bloody for the way she massacred all who stood before her. Alex von Blitzenritter chanced upon the Inn of the Mourning Star. She stumbled upon it by fluke but will anything make her stay? Only time will tell...
