Short Description:

Keg walks in looking like something out of an anime; big hair in an odd upswept style, small lensed sunglasses, metal-shod boots with shinguards and a long coat that's pure red and (even to the untrained eye) is conspicuously thick. Even though the coat itself must weigh 10 or 15 pounds he moves easily in it.

Kermit's father was not only Irish but career military. Having to move around on a semi regular basis is hard on a kid, especially if all they are around is the other army brats, but Kermit was different. Maybe having an older brother to help keep him in line caused it or maybe it was just a cosmic event of unplanned proportions but either way he was always the voice of common sense. Growing up watching television like MacGuyver and The A-Team Kermit was always intrigued by the idea of making do with what you have, no matter the circumstances. At the time of their father's divorce he was riding shotgun with his brother, who drove on high profile getaways for the local syndicate, partly because they wanted as few casualties as possible and because most thugs couldn't win tic-tac-toe against a rock. During this time Kermit learned a lot of what he knows from his brother but became overconfident and pulled a job on his own but not being as good behind the wheel got him caught and he was sent up for a 2 year stretch....it would have been less but he refused to give names of other people in the syndicate. It was during his time in prison that he became a fatalist and embraced the nature of the Stoics, believing that everything was planned and the only thing he had complete control over was his own character. The fact that this belief helped get him out early for good behavior and just before one of the minor bosses was interred just confirmed it in his eyes. He had planned to find his brother when he got out but discovered that his brother was nowhere to be found and he presumed that Matthew was killed or serving his own sentence as he hadn't had a visit from him for at least 3 months before he got out. His father had died of a heart attack while he was inside but the inheritance set him up enough that he found a modest flat back in his birthplace of Boston and he now works as a freelance handyman/mechanic when he isn't on the job learning how to drive a semi truck or taking a class on computers or any of the varied other things he looks into trying to find just what he wants to do from here. The rush of the getaway still pulls at him and he fights it as much as he can since the last thing he wants is to go back to prison, even though they had better food then some of the places he has eaten at.
