An on and off follower of
the occult, Jayge went thru college and got a degree and found that
the paper meant nothing in the job marketplace, and thus turned to his
two main interests: Computers and the Occult. It may have seemed like
fate which brought him to the southside of Boston on a trip to consult
for local police on a serial killing case.
While he did find the woman responsible for the crimes he in turn was found by her owner, she was a ghoul and at the time Jayge knew not of the intricacies of the Masquerade. The Diabolist's name was Kantios and in his vanity he wanted his story told...published on the net even. During one of the nightly sessions Kantios' other childe came calling for revenge and nearly slaughtered both Kantios and Jayge. Kantios having just killed one childe decided to replace it with another and gave the dying Jayge a choice. Live forever under his tutelage or die and face whatever was on the other side. |
Taking the obvious choice of many dying mortals Jayge was embraced...but something went wrong and he rose 3 days later to find Kantios gone and the thirst upon him. Luckily he was not overcome and the first night fed from various migrants, muggers, and animals. Making his way back home he sold his house and most of his belongings and left in search of the only thing he could remember that might help him, a name Kantios had once mentioned with derision and vengeance....the name of De`Moire.
