"MEDISYNTH SIMILIMUM - 2000" SEMINAR

MUMBAI : "Medisynth Similimum - 2000" Seminar was held on 21st and 22nd January 2000 at Shanmukhananda Hall, Kings Circle, Mumbai. Shanmukhananda Hall is one of the biggest auditorium in Asia. It was organized by Medicure Foundation.

Medicure Foundation is a charitable trust engaged in providing
medical relief through conventional methods and striving to
establish and popularize homoeopathy as an alternative medicinal system which is equally effective and yet inexpensive.

The seminar was attended by 2140 delegates from all over the
world. Every body was very happy and satisfied with the seminar.
It was a grand success.

Dr. George Vithoulkas was invited as a speaker. He is the only Homoeopath in the world who has been awarded with the "Right Livelihood Award" - An Alternative Nobel Prize conferred by the Swedish Parliament.

Dr. George Vithoulkas said that this was the best and the biggest seminar ever held in the world. He also said that he would like to come again for this good cause of promoting Homoeopathy.

Hon. Shri N. T. Shanmugham, Union Minister of Health, Government of India, inaugurated the seminar.

Ms. Shailaja Chandra, Secretary - Dept. of Indian System of Medicine and Homoeopathy came all the way from Delhi and graced the occasion by her presence.
Dr. George Vithoulkas spoke about Treatment by layers; Obstacles to recovery, Finer shades of case-taking, Materia Medica of Aurum group, and plenty of Clinical cases.

Dr. Farokh Master who is a Professor of Medicine in Bombay University and a Consulting Homoeopath spoke on Homoeopathic Management of terminally ill patients. He has given many seminars around the world. He has written more than forty books and has also written articles in magazines. He has presented scientific papers in National and International Seminars.
Dr. Jawahar Shah who is a Homoeopathic consultant with 20 years practice and has conducted more than 200 Courses and Seminars in last 5 years in 22 countries presented cases on Anhalonium Lewinii and Oeonanthe Crocota

Dr. Shah has presented T.V. programs and has been writing articles in various National and International Scientific Journals.

He has developed a complete Homoeopathic software, "Hompath Classic" which has the largest database and fastest search and has more than 65,000 pages of information. Hompath Classic is being used by thousands of doctors in 58 countries all over the world to help their patients.

On the whole it was the biggest seminar of the world, which was very well organized and attended.
