| Completely Different Worlds By: Mushu I think whenever I see him I swear to myself He can't possibly feel the same way I do He can't feel that feeling that makes my heart beat And makes my stomach turn I mean... he's from a completely different world He knows things I don't I know things he doesn't And yet... no matter how different we are We always spend the summer together Whenever he can come up into town Or whenever I can take the bus over to his house I want this insanity to end One day I'll forget he even existed But I know that's not likely Because I'll probably always see him He'll always find out when I'm in town And he'll always call to say hi And ask me to come over So he can show me off to his friends At least... that's what I think he does That he only hangs out with me Because I'm American I think he doesn't hang out with me Because I'm pretty Or because he just likes my company I think he just hangs out with me Because I'm something to show off To his friends And maybe that girl-friend in that group of friends Is the girl he likes And he wants to impress her We're completely different worlds I'm going to ask why he calls me Next summer But until then, we're completely different worlds |
