| Billy Tipton was a bandleader playing country swing and big band music during the 1930's, '40's and '50's. At the pinnacle of his career, Billy Tipton abandoned his musical quest in order to move to Spokane, Washington to become a talent agent. Tipton booked Burlesque acts and small jazz combos, and lived quietly in a house trailer until his death in 1989. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||
