| Billy Tipton was a bandleader playing country swing and big band music during the 1930's, '40's and '50's. At the pinnacle of his career, Billy Tipton abandoned his musical quest in order to move to Spokane, Washington to become a talent agent. | During his autopsy, a secret was revealed: Billy Tipton was actually a women. For more than sixty years, Dorothy Tipton lived as Billy -- musician, talent agent, husband and father. Many close to Billy, including his wives and three sons, had no idea about his double life.
