This here is my page to help legalize Marijuana. If you already agree with me... go down to the bottom where you can sign petitions, etc. to legalize it. If you don't agree with me, then keep reading because i'm gonna to try to enlighten you.
Reasons to Legalize Marijuana:
1. Marijuana is safer than tabacco and alcohol.
Although smoking anything is harmful to your lungs, ciggarettes have toxins and poisons in them that cause cancer and other diseases. Marijuana is all natural and has not been chemically treated. Tabacco has been drenched in a killing formula, and yet is legal while marijuana is not. Alcohol is bad for the liver and can cause complications to your health while alas marijuana does not.
2. Marijuana has NEVER been a cause of death.
Thousands of people die from tabacco each year and still marijuana has never killed a person. Sure, you can argue and say that a stoned driver ran someone down and killed them, but that's not marijuana killing people, that's people killing people.
3. Putting people in jail for possesion and selling marijuana is a waste of our prisons.
A marijuana user is not a common criminal. Although there may be some bad seeds out there, they should be put in jail for a real crime, not using something as harmless as marijuana. While rapists and murderers walk free, marijuana users are sentanced and thrown into jail. Not only is this wasting tax-payers money, it's pointlessly ruining people's lives and letting the true evils live free.
