Billy wasn't my first beloved pet; however, ever since he came into my life, he became my partner for life. Billy came to our big family of nine people when he was only eight weeks old. He was a surprise gift from my brother and his wife. Billy's gentle nature, friendly, and out-going personality made him so lovable. He was always the center of attention.
For the past fifteen years of my up-and-down life, Billy and I had always been leaning on each other. We'd been through uncountable events in our life journey. We shared happy times and sad times. He was my little sunshine in those darkest days of my life as I was going through a difficult divorce.
Billy had very "strong will" to live, and he never gave up anything he wanted. Six months prior to his departure, Billy's health was deteriorating due to a life threatening disease. He struggled to survive and fought hard for his dear life just to be with us. After Billy left, for a long time, I had a hard time to live without him. One day, my husband and I happened to find a breeder in Montgomery, Alabama. As a result, we now have Migo and Tobi, who are carrying on our love for Billy. Looking at Migo, I can see Billy inside, because their personalities are so much alike.
I would like to thank my brother and his wife for introducing Billy to our home. I especially thank Billy's breeder, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Hoffmann for bringing Billy to this world. Many thanks go to the members of Atlanta Shihtzu Club for their support. I give my heartfelt thanks to the Bar-Lar Shihtzu Kennel where Migo and Tobi were born. Finally, I want to say "THANK YOU" to my beloved Billy for your fifteen years of unconditional love and companionship!
