| Puget Sound Doberman Pinscher Club (PSDPC) supports the efforts of Northwest Doberman Rescue and the Doberman Pinscher Club of America's COPE. Some PSDPC members have independent rescue efforts.Through education, careful breeding, and placing of puppies, the numbers of unwanted Doberman Pinschers continues to decline. Working closely with area animal shelters and private individuals, Puget Sound area Doberman Pinscher rescues attempt to place dogs into new permanent homes by carefully screening adoption applicants. All dogs must be spayed or neutered and contained by a fenced yard. Some exceptions may be made, but the intent is that the dogs find new, responsible homes who will provide them with the love and care they deserve.
