§ The class will go to the computer lab to complete an online quiz of the book. The students will then have to write down their answers on a separate piece of paper to turn in to me and be graded. §

§ Students will lead an in depth discussion about the book. Stating things that they liked and disliked about it, and whether or not any future students should read this book. § Students will also discuss how important it is to be able to remember things that you experience throughout your life. § The class will then be instructed to brainstorm for a personal narrative that they will have to begin working on for homework. Homework: § Begin working on your personal narrative. Have a rough draft ready for Monday. |

§ Students will trade their papers with each other and edit and review them. Making comments on a separate sheet of paper to be given to the author after turning it in for a grade. |

§ Students will receive their comments that were made on their papers back. Homework: § Students will take their comments papers home and correct any advised changes, to be turned in on Wednesday. |

§ Students will turn in a copy of their paper for me to look over and edit their grammar and punctuation. |

§ I will hand back students narratives. Homework: § Students will correct their stories and turn in a final copy on Friday. |

§ The students will read their stories aloud to the class. § Students will then turn in their stories to be graded. |
