Warp Spiders

Pros: Very fast unit, the double jump ability is good for getting to areas quickly. High strength weapons.
Cons: High points cost, weapons have no AP value.
Comments: From my perspective, the bad out-weighs the good. The only useful thing i see Warp Spiders doing is maximizing on the crossfire rule and trapping units quickly. The Surprise Assault exarch power is amazing!
Striking Scorpions

Pros: Strength 4, good all-round armament, Plasma and Haywire Grenades, Infiltrate ability.
Cons: No power weapons.
Comments: An excellent unit, give the Exarch Crushing Blow and Stealth, go after weakly armoured units like Imperial Guard, or Dark Eldar squads.
Howling Banshees

Pros: Power Weapons.
Cons: Strength 3, Exarch's abilities aren't that great.
Comments: This unit rivals the Scorpions because of their power weapons. Give the Exarch an Executioner, go after heavily armoured units (like Space Marines and Termies) and deny them their great save.
Fire Dragons

Pros: Excellent anti-tank squad, relatively cheap.
Cons: Very limited range; needs a Wave Serpent.
Comments: An amazing unit, give the Exarch both abilities (Burning Fist & Tank Hunter), mount in a Serpent with bright lances and go tank hunting!
Wraithguard

Pros: High Strength and Toughness, Fearless.
Cons: Wraithsight, short ranged weapons, only 5 can be crammed in a Wave Serpent.
Comments: Assign a Warlock to the squad to prevent the unit from standing still for a turn, use the Wraithcannon's good armour piercing capabilities and knock out land raiders.
Pathfinders

Pros: Expert Marksman and Cameleoline Cloaks, only +5pts more than a Ranger.
Cons: Only available in units of a maximum of 5, only available to the Alaitoc Craftworld.
Comments: Makes me want to start an Alaitoc army... Very, very good unit.
