Paul's Guide to Puerto Iguazu Life and Love Camping Costa Ramon http://www.campingcostaramon.com.ar/ I was really surprised when I saw this campground... I have to say it is the nicest campground I can remember seeing in a very long time. The owners have thought of many details to make this a special place to stay. For example, there is a large roof over each camping site. As I write this page I am sitting at a table looking over the river to Paraguay and I hear the sound of the waterfall in the swimming pool behind me, mixed with sounds of birds and a small motor boat on the river. | Video This video was made with a small drone owned and operated by a traveler from Germany who goes around South America in a Land Rover. You will see the Land Rover at the start of the video. He stayed here and offered to make the video at no charge for Carlos. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W5EEXe-PEI4

| How I found I met Carlos I was talking to 2 Argentine backpackers who were waiting for Carlos to pick them up from the bus station. When he came I asked if he could put my bike in his car and take me to see his place. He said yes so here I am. Today is Jan 7, 2015. Carlos told me his wife, Adriana, had the idea for the campground. He said they bought the land about 15 years ago and started clearing it of trash. I told Carlos I have seen a lot of camping places around the world but never one like this. I have a good feeling about Carlos. He is a hard worker and seems honest from the short time I have known him (about 1 hour now!) He is also very talkative. We speak mostly in Spanish but he seems to understand enough English to communicate what is necessary. |
