At least here on this Page the English
version more Information about Peru!!

Anybody who still arived in Lima and already has found his accomodation likes to leave as soon as possible of course Lima has not that much to see
on sights and places of intrest than the rest of the country. In Lima are the Ruins of Pachacamac, suburbs like Miraflores and Baranko
the Plaza de Armas and some Museums. One to visit is the National Museum.
There are two ways to leave Lima the first one is by a domestic flight wich is the most expensive one the other one is to go by bus.
The charge for an airfair is allways different and depends on the seasontime for one way Iquitos-Lima the price varies
from 59.-US$ up to 79.-US$ during high season wich is June,July,August up to the mid of September
It was possible to go from Lima to La Oroya by the Railway but it is closed now and there is no money left to repair the traks.
If there is a millonär who reads this he shoud spend some money to repair the tracks insted spending it on bouse and Girls it would be helpfull for the Citicens and maybe for himself.
In the south of Peru there are beautifull Railways and they operate but not every day they going from Arequipa via Julianca to Cusco
or from Puno to Cusco this Train is called the Inka Train. As I said the Trains not going every day so ask the Touristinfo on your arrival in Lima about the days they going from Arequipa or Puno.

Here I go on with some more Information about travell connections
in the northern part of Peru

Trujillo:Provinz La Libertad

From Trujillo it was possible up until the last year to fligh to Tarapoto and Iquitos but today you first have to go back
to Lima and then fligh of to Tarapoto or Iquitos what also cost you a little more as usually you just have to pay for the flight to Lima 59.-US$
and then from Lima to Iquitos another 59.-US$ and thats together 118US$ wich is a lot of money also in Peru.(during low season otherwise 158.-US$ for both ways)
I did it by bus. To Tarapoto it needs 24-ours and only one Buscompany goes to Tarapoto from Trujillo three times a day via Ciclayo where you can also stop for one or two days to visit Sipan Valley.

The Buscompany is:

Tourismo Ejecutivo S.R.Ltda.
Ejetur
Av.Nicolas de Pierola 940
Trujillo-Peru
Tel:222228

For the whole trip you have to pay 55.-Soles wich is 20.-US$.The office is easy to find it is just behind
the Primavera Hotel and the Ticketsales is very quickly the Chickas are not sleeping they work very fast
and as well on your way in case the Video works you get shown a Video.Let me say it short you are in good hands also the Busdrivers change during that trip.
In case you have enough time and you are on your way to Trujillo you can also stop in Huaraz the following link will bring you to a nice Homepage you should contact this people for accommodation

nice Jungltrips at this area wich is very beautifull

A good Adress to stay:

Hostal El Mirador
Jr.San Pablo de la Cruz. 517
Tarapoto-Peru
Tel: 094-522177
They charge you 25.-Soles per night including Cabel TV
and is a secured Family Pension.
Around the Plaza de Armas you find some more.

Iquitos

On arrival at the airport you get runned over from Taxi drivers an everybody like to drive you to the city it seems like in Bombay but everybody will drive you to your place or Hostel you tell them.
My Tip for Iquitos
Hostal Bom Bini
Arica 348
Iquitos-Peru
The owner is a member from the Peruvian Lions Club and the Hostal is secured and not dirty
The rate is 25.-Soles for a night includet cabel TV-hot water is not availabel there but you still don`t need it at the Selva.
The Hostel is only a few meters from the Plaza de Armas.
In case you need more comfort at the Plaza de Armas are lots of Hotels also a 5-Star Hotel.
One wich you still can afford is Gringos Bar and Hotel in his Pub you find also a lot of Chikas
who like to talk to you-not prostitutes normal women.
Prostitues are around the Plaza de Armas at night but not that much as it is in Europe or Thailand
or Domenican Republik in Peru there is not that much Inquiry about that you can also find a woman if you are o.k.Peru is also not a classic sex-tourist country if you are looking for that you will not find it in Peru.
