These are some of my very favorite very deliciouse recipes. I hope you enjoy them as much as my family and I do!
Snickerdoodles
Preheat oven to 375 degrees
Mix: 1 cup margarine, 1 and a half cups sugar and 2 eggs
Add: 2 and 3 fourths cups flour, 1 teaspoon baking soda and a half teaspoon salt
Mix well and chill for an hour.Roll into walnut sized balls and roll in 1 cup sugar and 2 Tablespoons cinnamon mixture.
Bake until edges are very lightly browned.
A-Z Bread
A-Z = anything you want to add for example bannanas, zuchini and apples.
Preheat oven to 325 degrees
Cream together: 3 eggs, 2cups sugar, 2 cups A-Z, and 3 teaspoons vanilla.
Add: 3 cups flour, 1 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon baking soda, 3 teaspoons cinnamon, and 1 half teaspoon baking powder.
Mix well and bake for an hour or until done.
Creamy Chicken Enchiladas
Heat on low: 1 can cream of chicken soup, half can milk, and 2 Tbs. green chiles.
Layer baking dish with: 1 pkg. dorittos, 2 cups cheese 1 onion, soup mixture, and 1 boned, cooked chicken.
Bake for 20 minutes at 400 degrees.
Green Chicken Enchiladas from Martie Long
Boil 4 chicken breasts in 2 teaspoons garlic powder, 1 onion, 2 teaspoons cumin and 2teasoons chile powder until chicken falls apart easily.
Shred the chicken.
Fry about 12 corn tortillas in shortening till soft. you need two cans Old El Paso green chile sauce. Pour some on the bottom of a square or rectangle baking dish. Place some chicken and shredded cheese into a tortilla and roll and place in pan. Keep going until tortillas are gone. Pour sauce over and shredded cheese to taste.
Bake at 350 degrees for 20 mins. Serve with sour cream.
