Nancy's Bio Nancy was born in Cohasset, Massachusetts and grew up in that area. After earning a degree from Boston College, she moved to Chicago. There, with a backround in improv (she performed in a troupe at BC ), she worked at a bar and tried to make her acting dream become a reality. Nancy joined the Second City Northwest Troupe in 1995. Next, Nancy left Chicago for New York City to become a performer for Saturday Night Live during the 1995-'96 season. After her time with SNL, Nancy moved to Los Angeles. There she appeared on VH1's Random Play among other projects. In November of 1999, Nancy joined The Daily Show team as a correspondent. She is also the show's "Money Bunny" on the financial report segment "Dollars and 'Cents'" , and is co-host on the show's segment "We Love Show Biz". Currently, Nancy is working on the next Adam Sandler movie, Anger Management, which is due out in 2003. Nancy is married to fellow Daily Show correspondent, Steve Carell. They both live in New Jersey and celebrated the birth of their first child, Elizabeth Anne Carell, May 25, 2001. |
