| Mo Alberto Rocca was born January 28, 1969 to an Italian father and a Colombian mother. He was raised in Washington D.C. along with his two brothers: Frank, the oldest, now lives in Italy; and the middle sibling, Larry, currently resides in New York.After high school, Mo continued his education at Harvard University. There, he was a member of the acting/comedy troupe "The Hasty Pudding Theatricals", for which he wrote the 1990 Pudding show Suede Expectations. He toured as an actor in the Southeast Asian production of Grease playing the role of Doody. Mo graduated from Harvard in 1991 with a degree in English Literature. He then took on a number of projects including writer for Nickelodeon's Wubbulous World of Dr. Seuss -- which aired from 1996-1999; and writer and producer for the PBS kids series Wishbone -- 1995 being it's premier season. Don't be fooled however, Mo is not that innocent...he was an editor for Perfect 10, a men's magazine. Mo debued as a correspondent for The Daily Show on October 30, 1998. His hobbies include visiting presidental homes and gravesites. Mo lives near Soho ( for those of you not familiar with the city, that's "South Of Houston Street"). Mo is also currently single. |
