PRETTY PIECE OF TOILETRY
Am I beautiful? Am I beauitul to you?
I won't take no offense
Am I stunning? Am I gorgeous?
Why can't I be a beauty?

I moved too much while I was created
And the chisel went out of its way
To cut apart my face
With strokes of originality

But if my beauty was obvious
Maybe I wouldn't be so lonely
And if I were a picture in a magazine
Maybe someone would notice me

But I know there's one part beauty in me
And one part individuality
But no one looks for that anymore
They look for the models, the stars

Everyone copies everyone else's look
So everyone is the same
So when anyone dares to break the mold
They just easily forget their name

But if I was beautiful
Could I be your pretty piece of toiletry?
Could you bring me along with you?
Or would you forget me too?
