| BOOTLEG OF JUSTICE (AMERICAN FLAG) You exchange liberty through the hands of a machine for something you can never own A bootleg of justice, a mockery of peace, a bastard child of war & for what, why? For one sided truth? For the Black Hills' gold? Or just to prove to your father that you're worthy of your crown & our battle cry: The theme of this war was "You denied, you supplied it" But you smelt the flames of injustice burning like a torch in the wind...not just any wind-but man made & still you lied Even as your people warned you Even as protesters gathered Even as your conscience condemned you & you lied Like a rat under the claws of a tiger you taunted for years & your only defense is to give handouts of propaganda "For peace, make war" "For freedom" "Bring democracy" & still you lie Democracy, heh You use it as an excuse to exercise the power you should never have expressed While ignoring your own kingdom's pleas to be heard So while you're out there fighting for freedom, Raise an American Flag high and mighty So to let us few who are silenced know when it is okay for US to be free Damn your lies!
