Unlicensed - Red, White and Blue Reverse

This set is one of the most controversal in the hobby. So what are these pucks? They aren't game pucks. It was fairly common in the late 1970's and early 1980's for unlicensed pucks to be produced. There was no appreciable marketing of souvenir pucks back then. This set does cross the line more than most. The attractive reverse crest suggests that they are more than they are. Also, pucks were produced retroactively. In other words, pucks were produced for teams long after their demise. In fact, all of these pucks were produced in the early 1980's after the demise of the entire league. Regardless, they are attractive, affordable and a part of the evolution of the hobby.

Jersey Knights (1974) The NY Golden Blades moved midseason to Jersey. Left for San Diego after that. A harder one to find. Decent condition. Code: WHAM11 Price: $20 US.

Los Angeles Sharks (1972-74) Originally the LA Aces. Moved to Michigan. Excellent condition. Code: WHAM12 Price: $15 US

Miami Screaming Eagles (1972) Signed Bernie Parent. Moved to Philadelphia before the season ever started. You'll only find this logo in this set. Excellent condition. Code: WHAM13 Price: $20 US.
