Viceroy/In Glas Co Approved (1980-85)

In 1980, the approved back now appeared on the Viceroy slug. Near the end of the series, the back was updated slightly with larger lettering around the shield (Sorry to mention that to the variation collectors out there). General Tire became the official game puck in 1985 leaving the Viceroy slug out of the picture. In Glas Co continued along with their Non-Approved until they finally displaced General Tire.

Atlanta Flames (1972-80) Now I said this series started in 1980. So why is Atlanta in this set? I really don't know. I didn't expect to find this one. Minor scuffing with a hole in the center. I believe this is very rare. Code: NGVA1 Price: $150 US.

Boston Bruins Obvious scuffing with a small hole in the center. One of two recognized varieties. This one has no black outlines on the spokes of the logo. Code: NGVA2 Price: $25 US.

Boston Bruins Now this is a rare item. Some scuffing with a perfect back. I think this is an error. It looks like the black spoke outline variety except they screened yellow where it should be black and never screened the black. Very unique. Code: NGVA3 Price: $150 US.

Calgary Flames An early game puck. No background color. Some scuffing on the reverse. Code: NGVA4 Price: $35 US.

Colorado Rockies Decent front and back. Does have a hole in the center. I have seen a second variety of this with a smaller NHL shield below the logo. Code: NGVA5 Price: $50 US.

Edmonton Oilers Hole in the center of the logo with some paint missing round the hole. Code: NGVA6 Price: $20 US

Hartford Whalers Minor scuffing on front. Excellent back. Code: NGVA7 Price: $40 US.

Los Angeles Kings The purple and gold small home plate logo. Logo is better looking than scan. Perfect back with some mnor scuffing on the front. Code: NGVA8 Price: $40 US.

Los Angeles Kings The one is a bit different. The purple is a different shade and there is no yellow on the logo. Some scuffing. Code: NGVA9 Price: $35 US.

New Jersey Devils Original team colors. Minor scuffing. Does have a hole above the logo. Code: NGVA10 Price: $30 US.

New York Rangers Very minor scuffing. Code: NGVA11 Price: $30 US.

Philadelphia Flyers Clean front and back. This one does have the updated reverse logo with the larger print around the NHL shield. Code: NGVA12 Price: $45 US.

Quebec Nordiques This is an early version. Notice the copywright mark below the stick. Some cracking on the front with a screw hole in the back. Code: NGVA13 Price: $30 US.

St. Louis Blues One of several varieties of Blues pucks. Colorful yellow note. Mint front and back. Does have a hole in the rubber above the logo. Code: NGVA15 Price: $35 US.

St. Louis Blues More traditional logo. Minor scuffing on front. Some paint chipped from the back. Code: NGVA16 Price: $25 US.

Washington Capitals The original logo. Minor scuffing on front with a clean back. Code: NGVA17 Price: $35 US.

Buffalo Sabres Sorry for getting out of order. Just found some more.... Wear on the front with a hole in the middle. Back is fine except for a small hole. Code: NGVA18 Price: $15 US.

Chicago Black Hawks Very minor wea with small hole through center. Back is fine except for small hole. Code: NGVA19 Price: $15 US.

Detroit Red Wings Version with team name on the logo. Minor wear with hole in center. Minor wear on back with small hole. Code: NGVA20 Price: $15 US.

Hartford Whalers Neat variety. Large logo without team name. Different from one listed above. Minor wear with small hole in the middle. Back is clean with small hole. Code: NGVA21 Price: $25 US

Minnesota North Stars Classic logo. Wear on the front with a small hole in the middle. Back in good shape with that darn hole. Code: NGVA23 Price: $20 US.

Montreal Canadiens Significant wear on the front and back. Code: NGVA24 Price: $7 US.

New York Islanders One of 4 varieties. The one has the white stick on top of the Island. It also has the white rim. Excellent condition except for a hole above the logo in the rubber. Back is good as well. Code: NGVA25 Price: $25 US.

Philadelphia Flyers Variety different from above. No 'FLYERS' below the logo. Minor wear with a hole through the center of the puck. Code: NGVA27 Price: $25 US.

Pittsburgh Penguins Minor wear with a hole through the center. Code: NGVA28 Price: $15 US.

Quebec Nordiques Here's a third variety. No � and no red circle around the logo. Minor wear on front with a hole through the puck above the logo. A bit of wear on the back. Code: NGVA29 Price: $30 US.

Vancouver Canucks This is different than the one in my collection. Mine doesn't have 'Vancouver' above the logo. Excellent condition except for a hole above the 'C' in Vancouver just off the logo. Code: NGVA30 Price: $30 US.

Winnipeg Jets Here's a treat for variety collectors. First of three different. First version with logo same as earlier Biltrite. Small white outer circle. Excellent except for the small hole through the center. Code: NGVA31 Price: $25 US.

Winnipeg Jets Here's a version with a thick red outer donut with a small white rim. No hole but wear on the front. Hard to find version. Code: NGVA32 Price: $30 US.

Winnipeg Jets Similar to NGVA32 except the red and white have been swapped. Excellent condition except for a small hole just above the logo. Code: NGVA33 Price: $40 US.

New York Islanders Same puck as NGVA26. No hole. Obvious wear on the front. Wear on the back isn't as bad. Still a hard one to find. Code: NGVA34 Price: $15 US.

Winnipeg Jets Same as NGVA32. Puck has a small hole through the center and some of the paint chipped away from around the hole. The rest of the wear is minor. Code: NGVA35 Price: $15 US.
