They were made in Spain and though the criterion for what made it into the East Coast and what made it into the West Coast DVD's in this series is a little shakey, the content is not. You get some very crucial, mostly black and white, footage of the music's luminaries such as: Charlie Parker, Duke Ellington, Miles Davis, and John Coltrane. Nearly 3 hours of historical footage between the two DVD's!
