There are number of Internet Service Providers in Sri Lanka. The dominant operator is Sri Lanka Telecom. But their connection speeds and the services are not the same all over the country. However due to the very poor telecommunication  infrastructure, the speed of the internet connection is far below compared with the developed countries.
