Can Review 2:

This week, I shall be reviewing the sister beer of my favourite Royal Dutch - Dutch Gold. This beer was long a favourite of mine and still is, but only lacking due to its lower percentage. While looking on the exterior of the can, its striking colours of royal blue and yellow, give this a rather cheap appeareance, but its' taste I must say is far from it.

Firmly a favourite from the backfields of Lucan, to the back-alleys of Phibsboro, Dutch Gold takes its' place as the number 1 cheap beer in Ireland. Dutch Gold is found universally in the off-lincences of Ireland fairly easily and it makes it a sure-fire hit as a result.

On initial sip, if a novice of Dutch Gold, it can taste rather steely and appears to have an initial strong taste when swirling around the mouth to get a good taste of it. This problem can be easily averted, by swiftly taking a large gulp and then the rest of the can as they say is extremely satisfying. Its price is a main factor, along with its popularity to it being a long-time companion on away-trips.Generally its price ranges from 1.28 - 1.38 per can, which at 4.2% this is a good relative.

In terms of taste, Dutch Gold has a nice strong taste in relation to its' alcohol percentage. Its' easily sought in liceced premises and therefore it gets another thumbs up from the Pub Spy can section.
