HOME CHURCH MOSAICS

St Joan of Arc, Bootle

St Joan of Arc Church was officially opened in 1961. It was a replacement for the original church which had burned down some years before. The mosaics in St Joan of Arc depict the fourteen stations of the cross.  They have been made using vitreous glass tesserae and are approximately 40cm wide x 80cm high. The name of the mosaicist is unknown.
