My major is in public health epidemiology with a focus in infectious disease, primarily bacteria and vector-borne illnesses. Also, I am interested in international health, hospital-acquired infections, bioterrorism, and the enviromental aspects of disease transmission among populations.
I completed an internship last summer with the Sandusky County Health Department in Fremont, OH. I provided support services and assistance to the Health Planning & Education Division, the Environmental Health Division, and the Communicable Disease Nurse/Coordinator.
