Ice Cream Man
Here I come, I'm the Ice Cream Man,
I hope your town doesn't have a ban,
Cuz I'm comin' down the road in my ice cream van,
Sellin' lots of fudge bars is my plan.
I play my chimes as loud as they go,
To entice your kids, even when you say, "NO"
It doesn't matter what time of day,
They hear me comin' five blocks away.
They start to get anxious, they just can't wait,
Things were good, but now they're GREAT.
They wave their arms and jump up and down,
They're all EXCITED, cuz I'm in town.
They jump from their chair, slide across the floor,
Fly down the stairs and out the door,
It doesn't matter if you're rich or poor,
They always want ice cream, and then they want more.
They run down the street to catch up with me,
They wanna know, what I have for free.......
