Life Again ?
April 25, 2001
I needed a new mistake to add to the list,
So when opportunity knocks, I can't say, "I missed"
I was sent an angel to be my friend,
Our interests and feelings, seemed so well to blend.
She taught me a lot, about so many things,
I was slow to learn, and I clipped her wings.
We're not friends anymore, her curiousity satisfied,
She will mend her wings, after tears have dried.
We would've stayed friends, but the timing was bad,
She warned me, she was selfish, but said it was a fad,
She doesn't want our future because I made her mad,
If she figures out why, it might make her sad.
We created bad feelings for each other, instead of having a blast,
I'll never see her again, she's only part of my past.
