1(a) A microcomputer has 64 K memory. If 0000 stands for the first memory location, what is the hexadecimal
       notation for last memory location ?
(b) How many memory locations can be addressed by a microprocessor with 14 address lines?
(c) Why PC and SP are 16-bit register in 8085?
(d) What determines whether a microprocessor is considered an 8-bit, a 16-bit or a 32-bit device?
(e) What physical address is represented by:
    (i) 4370 : 561 E H
    (ii) 7A32 : 0028 H ?
(f) What do you understand by single chip microprocessor?
(g) Which pin of 8086 will differentiate between minimum mode and maximum mode ?
(h) What do you understand by data acquisition system ?
(i) Discuss the formation of control word of programmable counter 8253.
(j) What do you understand by resolution of A/D convertor ?

2. Describe mode command register of 8251 USART.
3. Write a program for addition of two 8-bit numbers stored in memory locations FC00 and FC01 (using
    8085 microprocessor).
4. Show the interface connections of ADC 0808 to 8085, show important signals.
5. Explain the meaning of the following 8086 instructions:
                     LOOP, DAA, CBW, IMUL, ROR.

7. Draw the internal architecture and functional block diagram of 8086 Microprocessor. Explain the function of each block.
8. Explain the functions of the following pins of 8085 Microprocessor:
                  TRAP, HOLD, READY, RESET IN.
    Explain how demultiplexing of AD0-7 is done in 8085?
9. Discuss the software development and interface connections to measure speed employing a microprocessor based
    system.
