Reptiles that will SHOCK you!!
My name is Jim Moore and welcome to my snake shop. I am trying to get through dental school, I just finished my second year, and these animals are one tool I use to relax and focus my energy on my classes. Here I am:
The cages you see above were made by myself and a friend Ron Gholson. They are constructed out of OSB board and pine framing. We made 3 units, 2 of which are seen above. The other one is below with a better shot of the larger one. The multiunit system is composed of 6 units each measuring 48" x 24" x 12" while the two double units are each 48" x 24" x 30". I have also made a rack system in which I house some smaller colubrids. The multiunit unit system houses my Bull snakes and is also used as feeding compartments for the Coastals and Diamonds.
The double units house my growing collection of boids. One unit houses my diamond pythons and the other my coastal carpet pythons. All of what you see is contained in a building behind my house. The building was already here when we moved in but I had to replace the floor and insulate it. I also put in a utlity sink which makes cleaning easier. One curiosity is we have a HUGE Power Tower behind this shed, THUS THE NAME! We hope to expand with time and added funds so check back often to see how we are doing.
