Oswiecim or more known as Auschwitz made a emotional
chock on the Swedish travelers

The big crematory chimneys pointed
to the sky in a fearful way . The big gate on the camp entry screamed out the
horrible words "ARBEIT MACHT FREI" we have seen them several times
in TV and movies but now the blood ran cold and the warm summer suddenly
became colder. There was a sign telling us that this was a graveyard and
visitors should show the camp some respect, the message on the sign was not
needed because all the chat and noise suddenly stooped when the camp gate
appeared visible to us.

GUARDTOWER reminds every visitor how small we are.
What horror feeling must the prisoners have had when the dogs and
guards walked here,,not to mention the death fear.

Travelers from Vårgårda resting.
After the tour in the camp everyone have a sad mind on. The contrast
was to big , the night before we where sleeping on the first class
hotel FORUM in the city of KRAKOW. Here life become more precious,
then aircondition and clean sheets .
