Team Officials Responsibilities

 Coach

Coaches will be offered training during the season to enable them to gain the skills needed to coach the players. We expect all coaches to try to at least undertake training course which is only a few hours on one day or more if wanted.

 Responsibilities

� Coach the team to a standard required to make the game an enjoyable learning experience

� Supervise games and practices

� Referee one half of the game

� Ensure the correct rules are followed during the game

� Rotation of substitutes during games with the Manager.

� Maintain good player behaviour during the games and practices

� Look after the training gear

� Attend coaches and managers meetings to ensure the team is kept up to date with club developments

 

 

 

The Manager

Responsibilities

� Team contact person for practice and game information, cancellations,

� Keep team informed of club developments or activities. Give out newsletters as required.

� Liaison with opposition team at games. Advise opposition of your arrival at ground prior to the game.

� Score keeper. Need to agree score with opposition at end of game and phone in result to Margaret by 5pm Saturday

� Attend coaches and managers meetings as necessary

� Care of team soccer strip

� First aid kit update as needed

� Liaise with coach to ensure team runs smoothly/rotation of substitutes

� Remind players of need to bring drink bottle to the field. Remind them not to share bottles due to the health risks that may occur.

� Keep statistics such as goals for and against for prize giving information at end of season.
