NO REGIONAL OR INTERNATIONAL OFFICERS WILL BE ALLOWED TO REPRESENT THEIR REGION UNLESS THEY ARE THE ONLY ONES IN ATTENDANCE FROM THAT REGION. |

A hospitality booth will be set up at as follows: The Hospitality Booth will be available to pick up any tickets or t-shirts you've purchased. We will also be confirming your attendance at this Kings Island event so we can enter your name in the drawing for the door prizes. You can plan to "meet up" with your group there at a certain time. There will also be a gift pack available to you as part of Ohio's service project. We will also be accepting monetary donations for the Make-a-Wish Foundation and toiletry contributions for the Hope Lodge as part of Indiana's service project. Commemorative t-shirts will be available for purchase. The proceeds from the sale of these shirts will benefit the Phi Theta Kappa Leaders of Promise Scholarship Fund. Advance t-shirt orders are due by 06/30/03. We want EVERYONE to wear their t-shirts that day so we can find each other in the park and so everyone knows who we are! The t-shirts will be blue with white lettering. They will be a 50/50 cotton blend. On the back, there will be an outline of the three states with an overlay of the Greek letters of Phi Theta Kappa in bold. On the front, on the upper left-hand side, it will say "Kings Island" with a roller coaster and "Phi Theta Kappa Day" with the date of the event. The shirts will cost $12. Sizes will range from small to 2XL. Additional shirts will be available for purchase at the Hospitality Booth for a price of $14. You can pre-order your t-shirt(s) and pay cash at the Hospitality Booth, but you must pay in advance to get the $12 price. All t-shirt orders will be available for pickup at the Hospitality Booth Friday night and Saturday morning. The deadline for advance ticket orders is Monday, 06/30/03. ****IMPORTANT UPDATE REGARDING THE HOTEL**** The Days Inn is now giving us a rate of
$79/night. You MUST call Andi Smith and/or Chris Johnson at 513-398-3297 BEFORE 3:00 p.m. EDT Friday, 07/18/03 to get this rate – even if
you already have an existing reservation.
You will NOT get this rate if you try to change it at check-in after
3:00 p.m. EDT on Friday. The Days Inn is located about 5 minutes south of Kings Island and is the same hotel where the Hospitality Booth will be located. Many people are coming in the night before. Click here for more information about local area hotels. Click here or here for information regarding the Kings Island campground (located right next to the park -- providing free shuttle service to the park). The park will be open 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. EDT. We will meet at Wings Diner from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. EDT for lunch (you're on your own for lunch). We will also give out door prizes. Everyone who registers for our event will be entered in the drawing for door prizes. Check back later for more details on the prizes! Then, we will reconvene at 3:00 p.m. EDT at the front of the park for a group photo. |

One person from each region has agreed to be the "official" contact person and will have their cell phone with them Friday night and all day Saturday. You can use this number in case you get lost, have an emergency, need to find us, etc. You can also give this number to your family/friends as a number they can use to get in touch with you if there is an emergency at home. Everyone who purchases tickets from us and/or purchases a t-shirt will be entered in our drawing for door prizes. If you have season passes to Kings Island, be sure to provide your name to Sue Jackson BEFORE the weekend or stop by the hospitality booth on the 18th or 19th of July. Door prizes will be drawn at our lunch gathering between 1:00 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. at Wings Diner. Be sure to check back on this site. More details will be added later about what some our door prizes will be! |

Remember that Phi Theta Kappa is about service, as well as fellowship. So, each of the three regions have been working on a service project for this event. |
