What is PTK?
PTK, or Phi Theta Kappa is the International Honors Society for two-year institutions such as Community Colleges.
What are some benefits of joining an Honors Society such as PTK?
Once you join Phi Theta Kappa, you are entered into a world of new opportunities. You get access to scholarships and mentors that can help you through your community college experience. When you graduate you have the opportunity to where PTK insignia such as pins, sashes, tassles and other such atire that will make you stand out in the crowd! Also on all your official transcripts will be a stamp letting the recipient Universities know that you are a Phi Theta Kappa Member. You will be invited to special events such as the new member Induction Ceremony and other PTK charity events. You will meet new people and become involved, making your college experience more rewarding

What are the requirements to join Phi Theta Kappa?
If you are a new member you must:
    1. Have 12 units completed at Mesa College
    2. Have a cumulative GPA of no less than 3.5 for the past five years of completed course
        work.
    3. Be enrolled in at least one class for the current semester at Mesa College.
    4. Pay a one-time life-time membership fee of $65.00
    5. Turn in an application with a check or money order made out to "Phi Theta Kappa" and a
         GPA print-out from
Reg-e or an official Mesa College transcrip. Return application to
         Student Affairs office (H-600) located in the back of the Mesa College Bookstore.
