Business:
Officer Openings:
We have three officer positions open. They are secretary, historian, and treasurer. We would like to have
elections at the next general meeting on September 23.
Civic Involvement:
We have scheduled a beach clean-up for October 23 in Mission Bay in conjunction with the Surf-Rider
Foundation.
Movie Nights:
The screenings of the Matrix Trilogy are tentatively set for September 23, 30, and October 7. We need
members to bring snacks and/or drinks to share.
Health Benefit Walks:
We are going to participate in the Race for the Cure in Balboa Park on November 7. We would like
everyone to wear a PTK shirt.
We will also be exploring participating in an AIDS walk or other benefit.
T-Shirts:
We have left over shirts from last year that we would like make available to members for a small fee. We
will take orders at general meetings and have available at the next meeting and at the Induction Ceremony.
5-Star Membership:
You must attend 3/4 of all meetings and events to qualify. More information to come.
